The technology of metal forming proeess plays an important role in manufacturing machine part. Its advantages are not only in its high productivity, stable quality, low cost of raw and processed materials, but also in its characteristies of improving the micro structure performance dramatically.With the development of computer technology and computational methods,the finite element method(FEM) gained great achievement and is applied wildly in metal forming proeessing.It is a significanice to doping out the influence of many kinds of processed parameters on metal flow,decrease the times of testing model,reduce the model design cycles,cut down the product cost.The metal forming is a very complex physical process,including non-linear geometry,physical and contact etc. But the finite element method is a numerical method based on mesh. When the workpiece has a large forming ,the mesh will be distorted. Remesh process for the distorted mesh is necessary in order to continue the simulation.Remesh process is not only a very time consuming process .But also makes the computation accuracy lost.It is also a very difficult problem especially to three dimensions remesh technique.If the mesh is distorted seriously, the computation process even can not be continued. At this time ,the FEM based on mesh will be faced with some proplems which is difficult to deal with.A new numerical method ---Meshless Method which undergos only more then ten years development has been gradually applied in metal forming proeessing and also gets a few achievement. Meshlesh Method approximate based on discrete nodes, so it can avoid to depending on the mesh like FEM. When we solve the large forming problem with distorted mesh seriously, it will show advantage. It is also agiler and simpler than FEM during preparing date and postprocesser.The kind of Meshless Method is various. The primary different of them is that they adopt different approximate functions and different ways of equivalent integral in differential coefficient fuctions. But they are also many common : establishing approximate function with no mesh, basied on approach fuction but insert fuction. In this paper RKPM is applied in metal large forming proeess. RKPM conmains emendation fuction and smoothed continuum kernel fuction with compactly areas and borrowed the multi scale technology form wavelets. So it remove the tensile instability in SPH and has advantage which other methods do not have: changeable characteristic of time-frequency and a large number of pixels.To deal with the proplem when simulating metal large forming proeess with FEM. a rigid plastic Meshless Method is introduced to the simulating process in this paper.And a analysis system based on rigid plastic Meshless Method is also deduced. Some caritical problem has been discussed. At the end a numercial examples solved with the two methods proved that Meshless Method is a efficiency method and it can deal with the problem in metal large forming processing well.
