Outershield wire product as the fourth generation new welding materials, which have the un-compitable advantages with normal welding materials in high-efficiency and high-quality as well as the ideal property in welding process . it is widely used and studied in the most developed countries. It serves as standard process in the Industries as vessel manufacture, petrol tankers, pressure containers, pipes, aviation, space-flight, railway, bridge construction ,Domestically, up to 80% of outershield wires are imported from outside, far behind the developed countries. So, outershield wires application's are deployed as s key project in the state's 10th five-year planning, also, the studies and developing of this technology are top listed in the book of "high-tech product catalog of china" compile by the State ministry of science & technology. And ministry of finance06011901***) .Wire rod method is use the wire rod steel as the raw material to manufacture the outershield wire through our fully automatic production line without annealing. The capacity of the line reaches 1500 ton per year. Its outputs have the property forceful and satisfactory welding result as well as high quality compare with the strip steel process, of course, this process reduce the cost 3000 RMB. per ton than the strip steel method.. Today, only INCOLN company (U.S) enjoy the technology.The key of our project is the continuous cold rolling process and wire tension control technology, with finishing of the project, we fill a blank in the field of welding technology for our country, reduce the gap with the developed country, in the mean time, the project would bringing obvious economic effect.This paper's target is to analysis the principle of "continuous wire cold rolling tension control technology" applied on the outershield wire production line. Paper gives out the reason of the tension generation and optimal settlement of the tension control protocol in detail, the analysis include the coefficient configuration, multi-roller's tension control method in continuous rolling, and speed chain structure designing.
