Galvanized steel sheet is widely used in automotive,home appliances,construction,decoration,advertising and civil industry.With the development of the automotive industry this year,much more families bought cars.It brings large changes to our work and daily life,so the requirements of cars are increasing with years.Baosteel regards the auto sheets as one of the most important company strategy product.In order to meet the need of automotive industry development,the customer's requirements about auto sheets quality become higher.Tension control is one of the most important factors in the product quality during the CGL producing.We take the new CGL in Baosteel as the research background and study de tension control system of it.There are three methods of the tension control this paper analyzed according to the production process of the CGL.The paper shows that the tension control method of the CGL units should be selected according to the actual demand,but not all selected the same control mode.Then this paper has carried on the analysis to some factors about the tension fluctuation influenced the tension control.At last we analyzed the running and stress state of the bridle rolls which were the main equipments of the CGL to realizing the tension control in the CGL.It's very important to improve the CGL tension control system.The essence of the CGL tension control is the motor control.This paper analyzed the CGL speed control system with the variable frequency speed control technology and the principle of vector control.We described the control mode of the main units of the CGL and analyzed equipments and speed control system of the cleaning unit and furnace unit.Through the calculation,it seems that it is more suitable to use the constant tension control mode in the furnace unit in the CGL.We used the calculus equation to deduce the tension control of the CGL according to the analysis of the tension control system and the speed control system of the CGL.At last we analyzed and calculated the load balance control mode of the bridle rolls,and compared the result.To the C108,it seems that the 3#bridle rolls should be used the first load balance control mode and the 4#hot bridle rolls in the furnace unit should be used the same torque load balance control mode.
