The flash welding technology is introduced in the endless-rolling process, and the welding machine power supply is very important to the flash welding machine. So it is necessary to study the welding machine power supply for endless-rolling, which can assure the working reliability of the welding machine, decrease the mechanical and electric fault, prolong apparatus's life, reduce cost and increase product quality. At the same time, it can also advance the design and manufacture level of welding machine power supply of our nation.In this paper, the hardware configuration of flashing welding power supply is determined on the basis of endless-rolling system. The hardware circuit includes the main circuit, synchronous pulse circuit, welding current collecting circuit, control system chip, trigger circuit, protect and anti-disturbance circuit. Because the system of the flash welder power supply is non-linear and hard to establish accurate math model, it is not easy to get satisfactory result by PID control. So in this system, Fuzzy-PID control method is adopted. The whole system is simulated in MATLAB and advanced according to the simulation result. Finally, parts of the circuit are tested. The experimental result and simulation result are compared and analyzed.In this paper, the developing experiences about the power supply of endless rolling welding machine is accumulated, and the knowledge of welding machine technology is widened, which is useful for further research and development of the equipment of endless rolling welding machine power supply in our nation.
