Studies On Current Situation And Development Countermeasures Of Ecological Environment In Lishui Region

Lishui city, as the headstreams of six rivers, is located in southwestern Zhejiang province, which is one of national ecological demonstrative regions. Construction of ecological environments is extremely significant for the sustainable development of society and economy in local area. In this case, based on the investigation, the status and trends of ecological environments were studied. The characteristics of ecological environments were as follows: (1) as a mountainous area, the physiognomy type is multiple, (2) farmland area is limited, and most farmland is with lower productivity, (3) water and soil erosion is obviously controlled, but the problem is still grim, (4) forest cover percentage is increased, but the forest quality becomes poor, (5) the resource of surface water is abundant and mostly beyond to I or II grade, agricultural non-point pollution and domestic sewage become important sources of surface water pollution, (6) the biological resource is also abundant, (7) the increasing rates of agricultural chemicals and chemical fertilizers are reduced, (8) geological hazards in this region are most serious in Zhejiang province.Based on the synthetical analysis of the characteristics of ecological environments in the local area, the ecological regionalization of Lishui city was conducted. The results showed that there are 3 ecological zones, following as: (1) east ecological environment rehabilitation zone, including Liandu, Qingtian and Jinyun counties, (2) middle ecological environment construction zone, including Songyang, Yunhe and Jingning counties, (3) west ecological environment protection zone, including Longquan, Qingyuan, Suichang counties.The results also presented that there are 6 important building areas with different ecological environmental conditions, including natural ecological protection area, headstream sensitive area, river valley and hilly fragile area, important surface water-body protection area, ecological environment degraded area, and excessively developed area.
