With rapid development of building glass abroad and home, species of building glass is increased various, and its application is promptly widen. During process of using coated glass, several problems is appeared, such as light pollution, heat bursting, sheltering from lighting. But it can not neglected for coated glass to decorating function for the building. Furthermore, optical property of coated glass is one of important technology factors of building glass. So it is necessary to monitor optical properties of coated glass.On the basis of reading and studying a great quantity of related information abroad and home, the paper designs a method to monitor optical transmittance and reflectance of coated glass on-line. This method mostly is based on the principle that light transmittance and reflectance and absorbance is different in different medium, and combine with the photo-electricity inspecting and Digital Signal Processing technology modern times. The signal processing system selects 1 kHz pulse signal as the carrier wave. Through it the pulse signal modulating light source can be gotten. The pulse modulating signal may be converted into electric signal through photocell, and we can gain collected analog signals by signal processing with signal magnifying circuit and low-passing filter and so on. The signal may be converted into digital signal by A/D converter. A real-time and high anti-jamming and continual working system may be gotten with Single Chip Micyoco technology.In the process of systemic design, software debugging is achieved by Wave6000 emluator system. The strong function C is used by software design, thus the structural formula and replanting procedure is heightened greatly. System debugging is realized by material hardware and integrated software. Finally, a lot of experiment measures prove: The error of optical property which is measured by this system, completely accords with the error which is regulated by country. This system implements on-line auto-measure function of optical properties of coated glass.
