The research of roller eccentricity is one of the hotspot problems in study of realm of strip rolling. In this realm, although it has had a lot of achievements in our country, but it still has a large gap with developed country because of the lag of equipment technology. With the increase request of strip quality, the roller eccentricity has become the important factor of influencing product quality. Author made a research into roller eccentricity compensation about theory and practice. First, on the base of understanding and grasping the principle of gauge control system, use the local true data summarize the predigestion dynamic mathematics model of gauge hydraulic gauge control system. Second, it analyses the work principle of gauge hydragauge control system and the problem of roller, comprehensive conclude the peculiarity of roller eccentricity by the numbers , hold its character, point out its influence for the gap﹑rolling force and gauge of steels. Third, contrapose the characteristic and the reason of roller eccentricity, combine automation theory, use FFT and the nerve network, shape its course of the compensation and command of roller eccentricity for realization about some key problem, also simulate in the laboratory, validate feasibility and validity of scheme through this experiment. Finally, on base of lab simulation, choose the relevant exterior component, make experiment in the locale, perpetrate some essential ameliorate about the problem and positive prescription. Prosperous apply roller eccentricity compensation technique in practice, enhance the quality of rolled steel .
