The Natural Rubber (NR) latex modified by chlorinated paraffin and antimony oxide blending was prepared. The effect of contents of chlorinated paraffin, chlorinated paraffin and antimony oxide blended on the flame-resistance and the mechanical properties of modified NR latex were investigated; The NR latex addition polymerizaion modified by trichlorobromomethane was prepared , the effect of reaction temperature, reaction time and contents of trichlorobromomethane on the flame-resistance and the mechanical properties of the NR latex addition polymerization modified by trichlorobromomethane were investigated; The NR latex graft copolymerization modified by tribromopropylene was prepared , The effect of contents of initiator, reaction temperature, reaction time, concentration of NR latex , contents of tribromopropylene on the monomers conversion ratio and monomers grafting ratio in graft copolymerization reaction were investigated, The suitable technical methods and flame-resistance of modified NR latex were analyzed by means of statistical analysis of orthogonal experiment . A comparison of the colloidal properties modified NR latex and solvent-resistance, oxide-index of vulcanized films was made between NR latex and the three kinds of modified latex. The heat properties of productions was analyzed by TG, DTG, DSC and DMA.The results showed that the flame-resistance of modified latex by chlorinated paraffin and antimony oxide blended was better than the others, NR latex modified by chlorinated paraffin and antimony oxide blended had a cooperative effect. With the contents of antimony oxide increased, the 300% and 500% elongation stress, tear strength of vulcanized films improved, and the tensile strength decreased . some conclusions were founded in NR latex addition polymerization modified by trichlorobromomethane: with contents of trichlorobromomethane increased, the flame-resistance of modified NR latex improved, with addition of antimony oxide the flame-resistance improved further, but the mechanical properties of vulcanized films decreased, with reaction temperature increased, the elongation stress of vulcanized films improved, tensile strength and elongation at break decreased after increased. Some different conclusions were also founded in NR latex graft copolymerization modified by tribromopropylene: with contents of initiator, reaction time, concentration of latex increased, monomers conversion ratio and monomers grafting...
