The Nature Rubber (NR) latex modified by methacrylic acid (MAA) was prepared, the suitable technical methods of modified NR latex were analyzed by means of statistical analysis of orthogonal experiment . Base on that ,the NR latex modified by methylacrylic zinc (Zn(MAA)2)was prepared , The colloidal properties of modified NR latex and mechanical properties of vulcanized films of modified NR latex were investigated in this paper.The results showed that the monomers conversion and grafting efficiency with DCP/TEP were higher than with APS/SHS in NR latex grafted methacrylic acid;The monomers conversion and the grafting efficiency increased significantly with the augment of the initiator contents, reactive time and temperature; The suitable conditions of NR grafted MAA were that NR latex concentration: 40% , reactive temperature: 50℃, reactive time: 4h , the initiator contents : 0.6%( occupying rubber's mass percent, the same to the undersides ), MMA contents:12.5% . IR spectrum demonstrated that MAA was definitely grafted onto NR .The modified latex gained the higher stability and the vulcanized films of modified NR latex had the better physical mechanics properties and resistance to solvent than the NR latex vulcanized films. The mechanical properties of vulcanized films of modified NR latex with DCP/TEP was higher than with APS/SHS in NR grafted ZDMA. The optimal technical conditions of vulcanized films of modified NR latex were that: the initiator contents was 0.8%, the ZDMA contents was 10% . TG,DTG proved that the vulcanized films of modified NR latex had the better heat resistence than NR vulcanized latex film;...
