The photocatalysis antibacterial cotton fiber was prepared with two technics.The dimension of nano-TiO2, the dispersed condition, the transition of crystal-crystal and the microstructure of antimicrobial cotton fiber had been analyzed by SEM,TEM,FTIR and XRD; The antibacterial effect of antibacterial cotton fiber was tested by turbidity and bacteriostasis circle. The washing-resistant experiment was examinated.The results show that in the technics I that prepared nano-TiO2 is anatase crystal at the low temperature(75°C) which dimension is 17.27nm and there appeared partly rutile crystal at 90°C. but there is mostly rutile crystal at 120°C. The optimum technics parameter is attained: the TNBT concentration is 0.1mol/L, the pH value is 4, reaction temperature is 75 °C, reaction time is 2h, the graft ratio is 16.4%.In the technics II that the dimension of prepared anatase nano-TiO2 is 11.6nm at 70°C. There appeared partly rutile crystal at 90°C. The antibacterial cotton fiber was propared by reaction between cotton fiber and acrylic modified nano-TiO2. The optimum technics parameter was attained: the initiator concentration is 0.03mol/L, the [H+] is 0.12mol/L, the crylic acid concentration is 0.3 mol/L, reaction temperature is 70°C, reaction time is 4h, the graft ratio is 21.84%.The antibacterial cotton fiber prepared with two technics is antibacterial, which is related to graft ratio. The larger graft ratio, the more performance antibacterial.On the contrary, the little performance antibacterial.The antibacterial fiber have better performance of washing-resistant.
