This article studied the influence of different atmospheric conditions during repeated processing on the property of polypropylene, polyamide-6, and the blends of PP/PA6.Firstly dried the polypropylene in the Argon, Nitrogen, Formiergas and Vacuum, choosing Argon as the inert atmosphere in this experiment according to the different tests on the dried materials. Injected the polymers in Argon and Air with BOY injection moulding machine, research the influence of using inert atmospheric conditions during repeated processing with the mechamcal test, rheological test, thermal test, morphologic test and other physicochemical techniques. The results showed that the inert atmosphere-Argon does prevent the polypropylene and polyamide-6 from aging and degradation, increase the mechanical property of material. Even just dry the polyamide-6 in the Argon can improve the ultimate strength and elongation of specimen. This discovery is very important and economical to produce high performance production. Polypropylene has an excellent repeated processing ability and polyamide-6 has a worse one. But the using of Argon does a protection and postponement to the repeated processing ability.
