Separating Of Isopropanol And Water By Pervaporation

In this dissertation, many references related to separating of alcohol and water by pervaperation have been reviewed. Many types of alcohol-selective and water-selection membranes were summarized. PV unit was designed and made for the experiment. Several kinds of silicone rubbers were preparated and used in the experiment. The regular pattern of the influnce by feed temperature, ZSM-5 which has various degrees of filling and difference rate of Si/Al were studied.The determine of isopropanol concentration was made, and the determining error was less than 1 %.In the theretical analysis of PV process, a mathematical mode of binary mixture through a symmetric membrane was put forward and its analytic solution was deduced.
