As a flame retardant, red phosphorus have a good potentiality, Its shortcoming is the emphasis of the research, micro-encapsulation is one of the effective methods. In this paper, on the base of the analysis of the theory and a lot of experiments, this article explore the method of Red Phosphorus micro-encapsulation flame Retardant made by using RESS process and the rule of the influence of various of factors.1.According to the basic theory of chemical thermodynamics,high polymer chemistry and supercritical fluid, this paper have analysed the physical characteristics of the supercritical fluid , the calculation methods of the solubility and the feasibility of the coating particle using the RESS. 2.This paper have found and bettered a technology of Red Phosphorus micro-encapsulation flame Retardant made by using RESS process, from the phase of the experiment ,have obtained the best experiment scheme and the influence rule of the temperature,pressure and the pre-expansion temperature to microcapsule. 3.By means of addition red microcapsule to ABS,PE, PP .this paper have detected the combustibility and physical property. through the rating of tensile-strength,impact strength and LOI, the result have indicated that the Red Phosphorus micro-encapsulation flame Retardant made by using RESS process is better than the Red Phosphorus.
