In this paper, the demands of fluid-flow components of Yellow River water pumps for the properties such as antiwear and antifriction were aimed at, as well as the volume-producing and the economy of it. Acting upon the thought that "firstly technology is sought after, and secondly properties are tested. Proceeded with mechanism of Casting-Infiltration of Boron, the artist has studied such as the experiment design measures of Casting-Infiltration of Boron based on gray cast iron, the model of the compositions of casting-infiltration dressing, the analysis of it by means of regression and the optimization of it. And the arts and crafts, the properties of the layers have also been discussed.Firstly, the development history of Casting-Infiltration has been overviewed, as well as its present situation of the studies. The achievements and defects of the studies on Casting-Infiltration has been summarized, and its development trend was prospected, then the topic of the paper was put forward.Second, the artist studied the compositions of casting-infiltration dressing and the craft of casting-infiltration of boron by using the uniform design and the orthogonal design, then acquired the model of the compositions of casting-infiltration dressing by means of the software of uniform design, and then it was optimized and tested by experiments. Also the artist studied the rule of the effect factor on casting-infiltration of born, and acquired the optimum technology of casting-infiltration of born. And the text proceed the study of mechanism of Casting-Infiltration to a certainty.And then, based on the study of casting-infiltration of born, the artist attempted the casting-infiltration compounded by lanthanon.Lastly, the microstructure and property of composite layers by casting-infiltration have also been studied. It shows that , when casting temperature is about 1530℃, the wear-resisting layers can be formed by means of casting-infiltration of boron, using NaF for flux, PVA for viscose, adding some of suitable Cu. the wear resistance of the irons treated by casting-infiltration has been increased 2.2 ~ 2.5 times against the base metal HT200. It is a new material with good property and will replace other surface transact technology to enhance the wear resistance property and erosion resistance property of the fluid-flow components of Yellow River water pumps.
