Process Simulation And Application Of Urea Plant Of Baling Company

The vapor-liquid equilibrium of weak electrolyte solution ofNH₃-CO₂-H₂O and NH₃-CO₂-H₂O-Ur was studied. Two models wereestablished. The first was partial empirical and theoreticalthermodynamic model which is suitable for full solution range,and thesecond was the heat value calculation model of urea system. The established two models were applied to the process simulationof CO₂ stripping urea plant.The steady process simulation of full systemwere established,and the simulation-calculation of original design dataand true cases of urea plant was made. The results matched the true datawell. The simulation-calculation of different cases of enlarged plant wasalso carried out. The suggestions on adjusting the case and improvingthe plant are presented.
