In this thesis,systematic numerical simulations of 3D gas-droplet multiphase flow,droplets vaporization and study of field are conducted for a wet FGD absorber of desulphurization system by flue gas.It has been proved by the field study that the numerical calculating method used for gas flow is reliable. The 3D gas-droplet multiphase flow; the distribution of gas temperature;the process of the water droplet vaporization; the droplet-wall collision in the absorber have been predicted by present model. The κ ? ε model,and the particle path model are applied numerically calculate the flow and temperature fields inside the erect wet desulphurization absorber of power plants.The factors which can effect the water droplet vaporization and the activation rate of the reactor have also been studied indepth. The conclusion in this thesis will be very useful to make the design and operation of the activation reactor reasonable and effective.
