By far, there were only two power stations in China, inwhich Seawater desulphurization technique were used. Theirdesign and construction were all carried by foreign countries.In this dissertation Flakt-Hydro technique is investigatedby both simulation and experiment. The main work and resultsare as follows.1. The simulation of seawater desulphurizationThe seawater desulphurization is chemic absorption, andit' s simulation result by ASPEN PLUS shows that the biggerratio of liquid to gas is, the higher desulphurizationefficiency becomes. The more alkalinity (especially HCO3-inthe sea) there is, the higher efficiency reaches. The moreSO2 there is in the inlet, the lower the efficiency will be.The temperature affects efficiency clearly, too. Aftersatisfied the smoke out in the chimney and vapor not dewing,the smoke temperature should be lowered properly. The anionin the seawater, exclusive HCO3-and CO32-, affects theefficiency lightly. Natrium ion in the sea can improve thedesulphurization ability, and other positive ions do notaffect it.2. The experiment study of desulphurization In the experiment, we validate the correctness of abovesimulation result. Furthermore, we contrast Pall Ring andplastic Mellapak Structured packing. The result shows thatnot only the ratio of the area to volume, but also the ratioof tower diameter to packing diameter can affect thedesulphurization efficiency. When D/d=16, it' s efficiencyis higher than both of D/d=10 and d/d=25. For StructuredPacking, the efficiency is mainly relative to L/G. The largerthe ratio of area to volume is, the higher efficiency reaches.To both random packing and Structured packing, the thicknessof the pack affects the efficiency more greatly. The thickerpacking is, the higher the efficiency becomes.3. The study of effect of the seawater desulphurizationtechnique to seaSeveral effects brought by seawater desulphurization areas below. The pH becomes lower around the drain point in thesea. It also heightens the COD, and reduces DO. At the sametime, it makes the seawater temperature higher, and enhancesthe SO42-content in the sea. Part of heavy metals in the coalare drained to sea after burning, it makes the content ofheavy metal in the sea to increase. Other metals measures upâ…¢ class draining standard except Pb and Cr in the drainwater.Calculation and simulation results show that seawaterdesulphurization can not do harm to the water quality aroundthe power station, and can not affect the life-form speciesat the bottom of sea.
