In this paper, a new type evaporator-inert particle evaporator, which is adapted to tea liquid infusion evaporating. The resign and build a inert particle fluidized bed evaporator. Experimental study and theoretical analysis on the heat transfer situation of the new evaporator were carried out. Meanwhile, the performance of preventing and cleaning fouls was studied for this new evaporator. Experimental results show that: Under the same conditions, the heat transfer coefficient of inert particle fluidized bed evaporator is about 1.7 times that for the vapor-liquid flow heat transfer. The relationship of the heat transfer coefficient with tea liquid concentration, heat transfer temperature, vapor temperature, liquid flow rate, particle concentration and different particle were studied. And analyses the effect of liquid flow rate, particle concentration on pressure drop. Based on the character of inert particle fluidized bed evaporator, used the method, a mathematical model of inert particle fluidized bed evaporator heat transfer was proposed. The investigation result in this aspect are not reported so far.
