The skewness or bending of Weft yarn is unavoidable in finishing process of printing and dyeing. And existing this causation, there has a strong impact on the quality of textile. Detect the skew of weft is a key component in the tentering of weft. If the performance of the detecting component is not very well, and the accurate information will be influenced unavoidably, furthermore the posterior aligning gear can not have a good effect.It's an important element to excellent cloth that detecting density of weft and the frame course of knitted fabrics must be continuous and accurate. Running check density of weft and the frame course of knitted fabrics make timely control the weight rate of elongation and shrinkage of textile possibly, and it is one of the most important way. The effect is very obviously in reducing fault rate and cost cutting.It is proposed an on-line measuring system in that technological parameter about skew and density of weft. This system applied a photo electricity sensor. The framework and mathematical model of the Measuring probe were analyzed. How the detection system detects parameters was introduced, and all the component of the detection system were expatiated and illuminated by oneself. The hardware and software of the measuring system were designed on the master controllerMSP430F149. The feature and function were introduced that this microchip and electro circuit and other chip. First internal structure and parameter of MSP430F149 were defined, internal A/D and it's installation was introduced emphatically. And other correlative designs about key board, LCD screen, memory chip was also introduced. Program structure and software capability about microchip and PC's were expanded. All the Separate subprograms and all the functional units were designed by the way of modularization. This system had been doing some examination in the lab through simulating practical situation, and the experimental result indicated that: the precision of the system got the prospective aim, it is enough that satisfy the factories' request.
