In addition, with the research on spatial models and geographic cognition, we can carry on reasoning and prediction, forming the deep understanding about things and phenomenon, summarizing important scientific laws. Based on these, we can offer important scientific basis and clear concrete conclusion not only for macroscopically planning decision of economic and social sustainable development and environmental improvement, but also for disaster prevention and reduction countermeasure. So, the research on Geo-info Tupu has very important meaning for theory and application.The dissertation tries to introduce the Geo-info Tupu into ecological environmental quality assessment, build information Tupu model of regional ecological environmental quality assessment, and realize the multidimensional, and dynamically display of evolvement law of ecological environmental quality inspace-time, reflect the situation of ecological environmental quality, reveal the trends of its evolvement, bring about an harmonious development between ecological environment and economy, and eventually, provide scientific basis for regional sustainable development, widen application fields of Geo-info Tupu and rich its theoretic system.This text has discussed the concept and implication of Geo-info Tupu for regional ecological environmental quality assessment on the basis of forefathers' research results, carried on basic classification to Geo-info Tupu, built the basic course of Geo-info Tupu for regional ecological environmental quality assessment. And we have discussed the essential feature of Geo-info Tupu for regional ecological environmental quality assessment.The thesis has taken Lanzhou as an example for case study of the information Tupu of ecological environmental quality assessment. According to the situation of study area and relative materials, we build index system of ecological environmental quality evaluation for Lanzhou city, put in order the evaluation index data and perform standardized treatment on it, and introduce the hierarchy analytic approach into ecological environmental quality assessment information Tupu model. And we obtain the ecological environmental quality assessment information Tupu series in Lanzhou across different periods.The study shows that, Geo-info Tupu is an effective means of regional environmental quality assessment.
