Soap-free emulsion is a novel emulsion polymerization, High solid content and stable soap-free emulsion of styrene(St) and butylacrylate(BA) was prepared in the presence of ionic hydrophilic monomer , nonionic hydrophilic macromolecule and amphiphilic monomer .Through TEM, we observed the shape of the particles. The effects of the concentration, types and feeding mode of functional comonomers on the stability of the soap-free latexes were investigated, and the hydrophilic comonomer's effects on the rate of polymerization were also discussed.After the preparation of high content the soap-free latexes, We investigate the application of soap-free latexes as the bond. The effects of the concentration, types and T_g on the vinculum capability of the soap-free latexes were investigated. The application of soap-free latexes as the antisepsis bottom of air-condition aluminum foil was also discussed.Self-emulsification epoxy resin was prepared in the presence of hydrophilic monomer: AA, HEA and hydrophobic monomer: MMA, St. The application of phase inversion soap-free emulsification on the modifying of crylic acid resin using epoxy resin was investigated. The effects of the measure of epoxy resin, monomer, selecting of solicitation and condition of solidifying on the ratio of translation, stability of latex and capability of film were discussed.
