The aim of the research is at developing a novel mono-alkyl phosphate reactive surfactants with good properties in this paper.Mono-alkyl phosphate reactive surfactants was synthesized by using methacrylic acid, 1,10-decanediol and phosphonation reagent as initial materials , and then esterification, phosphonation and neutralized . The synthetic conditions and active composition of mono-alkyl phosphate reactive surfactants were explored. The synthesis technology for mono-alkyl phosphate reactive surfactants was studied and the optimum conditions of preparation were determined on the basis of the experimental results . Firstly , ω-hydroxy decy-methacrylate ( compound I ) was sythesized at the mole ratio of methacrylic acid to 1,10-decanediol 1:1.75, using p-toluene sulphonic acid as catalyst and at 80℃ for 5h. Secondly, ω-phosphate-decylmethacrylate (compound II) was prepared by the reaction of compound I with P2O5 at the mole ratio of 2 : 3 ; the reaction temperature is at 60 70℃; The reaction time is for 5h; and then the hydrolysis reaction was carried out for 1h. Finally, the product was gained by neutralizing the compound II with KOH . The yield of alkyl monophosphate reached to 97.91% . It was found that the emulsifying power was better than SDS and DNS-86 and that the critical micelle concentration of the product was 0.036mol/L.The organosilicone-modified acrylate microemulsion was prepared by pre-emulsified semicontinuous copolymerization in the presence of RE(mono-alkyl phosphate reactive surfactants), The effect of the mass ratio of RE to SDS and of content of siloxane monomers were discussed and the film was studied . The silicon-acrylate microemlsions were obtained with good property for coatings and an average particle size of 45.4nm when the mass ratio of RE to SDS is 1:1, the mass percentage of silicone is 10% and emulsifier is 8%. By FTIR,TEM and DSC it was showed that the mono-alkyl phosphate reative surfactant had good reactivity and emulisification.
