Lake ecological management is a very complicated large-scale systems engineering. The study aiming at the spatial data management problem of Lake Wuliangsuhai, based on SuperMap Object, Visual Basic software and Geographic Information System special analysis and arithmetic theory, established foundational spatial data management platform and carried out unification management of spatial and non-spatial data. Through unified management of spatial data and attribute data, correspond attribute information with spatial position, actualize query each other and supply gist with visualization special chart. Combined with SQL Server database, actualized the data collection, storage and management, made the management scientific and standard and provided scientific gist for the project. The study achieved the relevant functions of sub-systems of foundational data management and reached the goal of safe management and visualization query. All of this is providing essential work for Environment and Resources Geographic Information System of Lake Wuliangsuhai and creating prerequisite for dynamic monitoring.
