Satisfying with the need of the market for high viscosity index lube base oil,overcoming the nature disadvantages in refining high viscosity indexlube base oil from karamay 0# mixed crude and taking advantages of two freezing point trait,in according to the results of the research in lab and the processes of refining , started with the fedsibility analysises and make sure introduced mid pressure hydrotreat process into the present processes to improve the trait of 0# crude and acquired 5 processes, and recommended to make use of two processes of them , of which repectively is positive order process(the vacuum distillates -solvent refine - mid pressure hydrotreating - solvent dewaxing - clay refine),and the other is negative order process (the vacuum distillates -solvent dewaxing - solvent refine - hydrotreat - hydrodewaxing - clay refine).By the optimizing processes being selected to produce experimentally in refinery,and the quality of the final base oil is up to the citerion of quality relating to high viscosity index lube base oil. Mixing with base oil , high-grade engine oil and gear oil would have been produced successfully. All of this provides the important technical support for Karamay Petrochemical Company to produce series of high-grade engine oil and gear oil.
