| This thesis consists of two chapters.Chapter 1: The applications of grinding method in solid state organic synthesis in recent years is reviewed in this chapter.Chapter 2: Michael addition of chalcones with various of active methylene compounds such as diethyl malonate, phenylacetonitrile, malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate, cyclohexanone catalyzed by KF/basic Al2O3 results Michael adducts in 20%-98% yields under grinding in 20-90 min at room temperature. The present methods have the additional advantages of milder reaction conditions, shorter reaction time, good yields, easy to control and environmental friendly.
