Drying has long history in our country, and has got some developments in technology. But for drying Chinese herb, it seems behindhand. After being dried by traditional ways, the quality of Chinese herb is not high, which lead the price of Chinese herb be cheap than those of other countries. Chinese herb is sensitive to heat, if drying temperature is too high, which will lead the character is changed and the virtual ingredients is lost. Based on that, this article comes up with a technology to dry Chinese herb, which is microwave-vacuum drying technology.Microwave vacuum drying technology makes use of the specific properties of microwave: transmission and choice, which makes water easy to absorb microwave to vaporize; Besides, it makes use of vacuum technology, which reduce the boiling point of water, and Chinese herb can be dried with low temperature, which can improve the quality of Chinese herb after drying.This article includes the following points about the design of microwave-vacuum drying equipment:1) To design the whole structure of microwave-vacuum drying...
