Chapter 1: The development process of writing materials, basic principles of pigments and color initiation mechanics in inks were reviewed. The reaction principle and application of the Colour-fading Writing Materials Based on the Light-sensitive and Hydrolytic (CWMBLH) were expatiated. The present status of ink quality control standards researches were also represented.Chapter 2: The CWMBLH samples were researched under controled experiment conditions. The external control indexes, internal controls indexes and general quality indexes of the CWMBLH were concluded. The experimental results indicated that the physical and chemical indexes of the CWMBLH can be applicated in room environmental protection and can prevent occupational diseases of teachers, also, they can improve local environmental quality. The CWMBLH have quality superiorities compared with chalk and blackboard. The quality control specification of the CWMBLH were implemented for scientifical production control Regulation. For the current state of writing materials, we represented a new method for writing materials classification.After explored ingredient screening and conditions development test ,we developed some new writing materials such as erasable inks ,water erasable inks and environmental protection inks and made favorable achievements. Some problems to be resolved in application were also represented.Chapter 3: The relationship between writing materials and health were researched to explore the way to solve room environmental problems brought about by application of writing materials and the prospect of writing materials were presented. The CWMBLH have many environmental application superiorities.
