Intensified monitoring of the remaining trace pesticides in waters is of great theoretical and practical importance to protect eco-environment, guarantee human health, and avoid or reduce the unnecessary loss of life and money. The fishery bureau in Ministry Of Agricultural has a special fund for the projects of standards establishment in agricultural field. One of the projects is "Determination of methamidophos and carbofuran in fishery waters by GC" (project number: 05245), which supports the establishment of the standard methods of measuring pesticides like methamidophos in waters. The establishment of this standard provides the basis for the reasonable investigation and assessment of water conditions, and makes the comparison of data from aqueous environment easier. So it's of great realistic importantance. This paper is categorized into four chapters, and each chapter includes the following contents respectively:The first chapter introduces the position and function of pesticides in agricultural production and the necessity of pesticides examination, and summarize the domestic and international status quo of the pesticides residue analytical technologies. At the same time, it also expounds the study of pesticides like methamidophos etc in waters in terms of our aim of study, and also designs the process of our research plan.At the second chapter , we comparate the extraction efficiency of 5 SPE cartridges(Waters Oasis HLB, SUPELCO Envi-carb, SUPELCO ENVI-18, ISOLUTE ENV+ and C18) on organophosphorus, organochlorine, pyrethroid pesticides in waters. Qualitative and quantitative analysis on 44 pesticides in waters are carried out by dual columns and detectors. A multiresidue analysis method is established for determining 44 organophosphorus and organochlorine pesticides in waters with ENV+ SPE catridge for extraction. The third chapter focuses on the study of the determination of methamidophos and carbofuan by liquid-liquid extraction gas chromatography. It introduces the toxicity, degradation, migration and conversion principles of the two pesticides, and makes a comparation between the different standard methods about the determination of methamidophos in waters. At last, we consider the influences of the pH, salinity, extraction solvents, extraction time and other parameters on the recovery of methamidophos, and establishs the mehtod of determining methamidophos and carbofuran in waters.A summary is made at the last chapter, we tested water samples from HaiHe River and JinHe River by our new established method. It is proved that this method has many advantages such as easy-operation, low-cost, high-sensitivity, good-recovery and strong-reliability etc.The innovation of this paper is that we have established the method of the determination for methamidophos and carbofuran in waters. We are the first one to compare the extration efficiency of 5 SPE cartridges on the pesticides firstly. A multiresidue analysis method for 44 organophosphorus and organochlorine pesticides in waters is also established.
