Whether the timbering design of laneway is in reason or not will directly effect the excavating balance, safety of production and benefit of economy. Domestic or abroad' s investigative institution and researching personnel make a great effort for it. They accumulated plenty of information and fruits. This thesis just about bases on it and then finishes in more development. For the classify of the balance of surrounding rock which has strong faint, more factors and more indexes, the auther chooses the analytical method of faintness clustering. Meanwhile, in order to intercomparsion and inter-validate, the author also adopts the classify method of polish mechanics. Then, depending on straits of the laneway timbering' s domanial knowledge, the author adopts the intellective structure of "database" plus "repository" and positive and negative bi-directional reasoning mode. Moreover, running advanced Visual Basic 6. 0 high-class programme language, he develops and finishes the consultative expert system of laneway timbering design which has UI friendly and structure height blocking . Trying on plenty of working faces, which proved that it reached applied request.
