In general, aqueous monomer synthesize nanogels by inverse emulsion polymerization. The system is not quite stable, and the particle size of micro-gels that acquired is more larger. The emulsion polymerization need append emulsification, which is adverse to performance of products.A series of PAA(Na) nanogels were synthesized by aqueous polymerization using Irgacure 2959 as photo-initiator and MBA as cross-linker. Influence of monomer concentration , cross-linker concentration and ND on monomer conversion and particle size of micro-gels were studied. The morphology and particle size of PAA(Na) nanogels was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy(AFM). Laser Light Scattering are used to determine particle size and polydispersity. It showed that, if monomer concentration, cross-linker concentration was increased, the monomer conversion was also increased, but if ND was increased, the monomer...
