This paper is about the research of synthesis and performance of 16-18 carbon alcohol 4-polyoxyethylene ether phosphate (hereinafter referred to as alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate).Alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate is synthesized through the reaction between polyoxyethy fatty alcohol ether and phosphorylating agent.The synthesis technology of alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate is studied here, 16-18 carbon alcohol 4-polyoxyethylene ether and phosphorus oxychloride used as the material. First, the observation is conducter to the reactants adding material ratio, adding material velocity, adding material temperature, reaction temperature, hydrolysis perdurability etc., which has effect on the formation, performance and color of the resultant, and results in the method of synthesizing alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate with definite composition of mono-, di- and tri-ester.
