This paper has mainly summarize research and application actuality of high numerator PAM in all the world, simple introduce polymerizing technology and compared with differ producing method. On this base, we have introduced the technology of photo-induced polymerization, and illustrated characteristics and mechanisms of polymerization, then designed a simple and high efficiency processing technique.On experimentation, we have synthesized PAM colloid by a self-made photo-initiator XN, and studied the polymerizing mechanism and infection of equations to PAM molecular weight, the content of remnant monomer and water-soluble, for example polymerization temperature, monomer concentration, quantity of monomer, sorts and mass of monomer, light, protective atmosphere, value of PH, chain transfer agents.At the same time, we have done industrial test of PAM Production, and studied the important technique parameter to processing of PAM, for example aging time, kneading temperature, additive, hydrolyze temperature and time, drying temperature and time and crashing etc. at last, get the best parameters for production of PAM.In the end of the paper, through the experiments on flocculation coal slurry we can test that there exist relation between flocculation efficiency of coal slurry and PAM mechanism and hydrolysis degree. Compared with the PAM from overseas, the product of we made by self-made photo-initiator XN, has more features for example easily melt , high viscosity, there has good prospect of PAM synthesized by photo-induced polymerization.
