In analysis the needs and tendency of the food additive sodium phosphates at home and abroad in recently years, in this article, summarized the needs and producing feature of food additive sodium phosphates, put forward ideal of designing flexible plant, which can produce multi food additive sodium phosphate with it's practices and experiences.According to the documents researched, in this article food additive sodium phosphates was divided into orthophosphate of sodium, polyphosphate of sodium and meta phosphate of sodium based on the construct and producing principle of food additive sodium phosphates, described characteristic of puffery, complexion, hydration, solubility, hygroscopicity, stability, gelato emulsion and dispersing of food additive sodium phosphates, the action of food additive phosphate of sodium as buffery, water maintainace, emulsion and bacterium inhibition in food, also introduce producing principle and process to be used in food additive phosphate oversea. Using melt poly method to produce poly-phosphates, the main point in this process is how to reduce impurity material bough to process: using powder polymerization/dry methods to produce poly/orthophosphates, the main point in this process is how to reduce consumption of energy and reduce pollution on product.Laboratory testing and pilot operation is the bases of engineering design, face on the blank of producing high quality food additive phosphate at present, we have done many laboratory testing such as condition of neutralization of acid and alkali, conditions of polymerization of many kinds of products, moist testing of polyphosphate, water soluble testing act. We also have done pilot testing of neutralization process, dry process and polymerization process; on the basis of testing we finished calculation of material balance and heat balance. At the end, we form engineering design such as process design, equipment construct design.The plant can produce the same quality products as world level. Some products can reach chemical analysis grade in consider of the purity, the plant can produce 9 kinds of products in consider of variety, and consumption of energy of the products is half of the same product in nation.
