In recent years, SGC can act as a well new source of CO2. In overseas, the main action is a new and original food additives and in our country, the main action is used for preparing effervescent in medicine industry and medicine for neutralizing gastric acid, solubilizers for sparing soluble acidic drugs and additive in detergent. At present, the synthesis of SGC is only wet method, we will replace it with ultrasonic wave and microwave method. The result indicated that the two methods is better than wet method, especially microwave method. When the power is 800W, the time is 15min, liquid-solid proportion is 1:1.67 (the ratio about the volume of the water and the mass including sodium carbonate and glycine), the yield is 98.3%. So the product did not need to separate after the synthesis, the product could demand the essential quality of the SGD as a kind of food additives and used in medicine industry. In addition, we also characterized the pured product including Mono-SGC and Di-SGC by IR, UV, XRD, TG-DTG There are many similar characterization, so we can conclude that their struction are very similar. There are some special quality about Di-SGC. Such as: the higher decomposition temperature, easy hydrolysis in the water, difficult dissolution in organic solvent and difficult crystallization, and so on.
