As there were large numbers of persistent organic pollutants and aluminum in the wastewater of flame retardants, it is quite necessary of treatment of the wastewater of flame retardants and recycle of aluminum, but the wastewater can not be treated effectively at present.At present, the research are few about treatment of the wastewater of flame retardants, we disposed the wastewater through flocculant, electrolysis and Fenton-Advanced Oxidation Technologies for Wastewater, but the removal ratios of CODCr degradation is not high.It was found that Fenton-electrolysis is an effective method for the degradation of organic pollutants in the wastewater of flame-retardants.The optimal operation condition of Fenton-electrolysis: electrode is graphite, pH=2.02.6, current density 10.814.3 A/dm2, initial concentration of H2O227 42 mmol/L and FeSO4 660990 mg/L. After 5 hours' electrolysis, the removal efficiency of CODCr and chroma achieved 98.34% and 74.19%, respectively. The result of GS-MS measurement shows the main product of degradation is non-toxic acetic acid. Experiment shows the Fenton-electrolysis has quick reaction velocity and high salinity. This method utilizes not only the electrolytic oxidation and electrolytic floatation, but also the strong oxidation and chemistry flocculate of Fenton reagent. Through this method, Persistent organic pollutants were oxidated to medium species or carbon dioxide and water.There was large numbers of AI3+ after wastewater was disposed. PAFC(Polymeric Aluminum Ferric Chloride), was prepared by HCl changing level of salinity and adjusting content of effective component by adding into FeCb and NaAJO2. The best condition of preparing PAFC is: 50 ml wastewater disposed; 67 ml HC1(1:1); 30 NaA102; 4g FeCl3-6H2O; 2 h circumfluence. The technical index is: the content of A12O3 is 9.93%, the content of Fe2O3 is 0.75%, basicity is 68.0%.PAFC, a new inorganic high polymer flocculant, was prepared through polymerization and is a excellent flocculant The flocculent efficiency of PAFC was investigated. The result show that PAFC has both characteristics of PAC and PFC, and show the excellent flocculation performance in pH, 7-9, and the amount of the flocculant is 8-12 mg/L. After three kinds of wastewater from tea plant, dye plant and life were treated by the prepared PAFC, the removal ratios of COD, chroma were about 30.2%, 81.4%,91.7% and 42.41%, 91.1%,100% respectively.Through the process of wastewater of flame retardants, the aluminum in the wastewater was recycled , the result indicated that the method has a prominent benefit of environment and economy.
