Abstract/Summary:
The developer researched in this article belongs to one kind of dye penetrating detectors. Because the motor of plane, ship and motorcar easily leak oil when in the high temperature, high pressure, high speed or examination and repair, the parts are complex construction, hard to find leak point, the leak point can cause the oil waste, pollution and communication jam. Some oilcan and pipeline may exist the possibility of leaking after years using. According to the above conditions, we need to research a convenient, quick, accurate and safe method to test the tiny leak to ensure the safety. The traditional dye penetrating detectors are suitable to surface leak detecting only, but not for impenetrating leak detecting. In this article we researched a oil container leak developer which can be used solely.Developer is mainly composed of absorbent, dispersant, casting agent, etc. This article researched developer through three technical process of absorbing, dispersing and spraying. The absorbent is main component in developer, its function will influence the sensitivity of the developer system finally. As talc is inert to most of the chemical agents, good floatability, good dispersibility, low causticity and easy to move off after using, talc is suitable to be absorbent in developer. Through the appearance observation by scanning lens to smashed talc which was mechanically actived and the function tests of Zeta-potential, whiteness, heat floating curve etc., it shows that the talc Zeta-potential increased, whiteness increased 3%, and the heat absorbing temperature decreased, so the mechanical smashing can increase thepowder surface activity obviously. Test by N2 absorption (BET) test, static absorption and pinch method to probe talc absorption function and mechanism, we regard that the talc with average diameter 5μm smashed powder is suitable as the absorbent by the absorbent character and developer synthesized function. The purpose of dispersing is to distribute the powder equably in medium and make it to be a system which doesn' t mass, flocculate and settle again. Select 1, 1 , 1-trichloroethane as dispersant for developer because of its no burning gas, fast volatilization and fine dispersant to talc character. Select HCFC134a as casting agent instead of Freon by the environment point and its fine consistent to trichloroethane, no burning gas character. The right package and inner pressure can influence the film effect and sensitivity of the developer finally. Through contrast test, we confirmed the composition proportion of the developer. Through the synthesized test to the developer, we regard the it achieved super sensitivity when it is solely used in oil container impenetrating leaks, it was certified in practice that this dyed penetrating detector is easily moved off after test and doesn' t corrupt to tested part.
