Studies On The Syntheses And Properties Of Ferrocene Derivetives

In this thesis, a series of ferrocenyl derivatives were synthesized. The electrochemical properties of some compounds were studied. The main results obtained were as follows:1. Bisferrocenyldiimine 3(a^c) were synthesized by the condensation of ferrocenylphenylamine l(a^c) with formylferrocene 2 ,then Compound 4(a^c) and 5c were obtained from 3(a^c) by the reduction with NaBH₄. Their electrochemical properties of some compounds were studied. All the new compounds were characterized by MS, IR and ¹H NMR spectra.Scheme 12. Two novel series of ferrocenyl heterocyclic derivatives were synthesized with ferrocenyl phenylamine l(a^c) and furfural, pyridine-2-aldehyde. Their electrochemical properties were investigated. All of the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and ¹H NMR spectra.3. The ferrocenyl formamide has been synthesized by ferrocenyl aniline with DMF, and characterized by elements analysis, IR^HNMR spectra and X-ray diffraction.NHCHOScheme 3Eighteen novel ferrocenyl derivatives were synthesized and characterized, and the electrochemical properties of some compounds were studied.
