Aimed at the problem of former numerical simulation on extruder fluid, some improvement in simulation and post treatment are made. The range of numerical simulation is both include melt part and measure part of screw. In this paper, Rubber viscosity is not fixed but varied with strain rate. A method is put forward to compute moment of torque of screw with wall shear stress .With this method writer study power consumption ruler that vary with parameters via studying torque. The effect of pin number in a row, axial distance between two rows of pins, depth of groove on performance of extruder flow is investigated. Finally an orthogonal test is made to judge the heft of pin number in a row, space between two rows of pin, rotational speed, and reverse pressure. After a mass of systemic numerical simulation with different frameworks and technical conditions were made, some conclusion could be drawn out based on strict study on result.1. The area of bad mixing effect core can be effectual reduced when pins cut in groove, but this core will not disappear. The incidence and intensity of pin is different with the number of pins and the axial distance between two rows of pins.2. The mixing efficiency will be better when the axial distance between two rows of pins is monished, but the output will fall and moment of torque will enhance. The axial distance between two rows of pins should be from 84mm to 96mm.3. When the number of pins per row increase, the mixing effect will be improved, the moment of torque will minish, the power consumption of unit mass output will be low, but the distributing of stain rate will be more uneven. The improvement of flow performance of extruder will not be more notable when the number of pins per row is bigger than 8. So the number of pins per row should be from 6 to 8.4. The relationship between output and the depth of groove is direct proportion. When the depth of groove is increase, the torque will decrease but the power consumption of unit mass output will rise.5. The rotational speed is the most important influencing factor. There is a linear direct ratio relationship between output and rotational speed. Increasing the rational speed, the torque go up and the power consumption of unit mass output reduce.6. At same rotational speed, when the reverse pressure decreased the output will fall andtorque will increase, the power consumption of unit mass output will be low. The contribution of reverse pressure to mixing efficiency is not obvious.
