Benzothiazole derivatives have been found many applications in medicine and pesticides for their unique biological activity. They are important material in the preparation of fluorescent whitener and dye. They also play an important role in the synthesis of high sensitive chromogenic reagent. In this paper, eleven benzothiazole derivatives such as N, N, N′, N′-tetra (2-benzothiazolyl) methyl-1, 2-ethanediamine(QBA), (2-benzothiazolyl) methyloxy benzene(BOB), 2,4-dichloro( 2-benzothiazolyl) methyloxy benzene (DCBOB), O-di(2-benzothiazolyl) methyloxybenzene( OBOB ), P-di(2-benzothiazolyl) methyloxy benzene(PBOB), 3-(2-benzothiazolyl) pyridine (PB ) were synthesized by means of conventional method or MWI technology and a single crystal of di (2-benzothiazolyl ) methyl ether ( DBOP ) was obtained. The different factors such as catalyst, irradiation power and irradiation time which affect the yield were discussed. The optimum condition was obtained. All the compounds were characterized by elementary analysis, IR spectra, UV spectra and 1HNMR spectra. The structure of DBOP was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction method. The relationship between structure and fluorescent properties was also discussed in this paper. CuCl2(TBA)(H2O)2.5 and Cu(BP)2(DMSO)2Cl2, which of transition metal complexes with tri( 2-benzothiazolyl )methylamine ( TBA ) and DBOP were synthesized and their single crystal were obtained.Their spectral properties,coordinate behaviour and crystal structures were studied. No report about QBA, BOB, DCBOB, OBOB, PBOB, BP , the single crystals of DBOP and the complexs of TBA and BP has appeared so far . It is found that the molecule of DBOP has two isomerides, the crystal of DBOP belongs to moloclinic system, space group P2(1)/c. The molecule of BP complex belongs to Ci point group, its crystal belongs to moloclinic system, space group P2(1)/c. The molecule of TBA complexe with CuCl2 has two isomerides, their structures are distorted octahedron and trigonal bipyramide, the complex crystal belongs to triclinic system and space group P1. It is showed that the application of MWI technology has many advantages in organic synthesis, the reaction rate were sharply accelerated and the yields were increased, the catalyst can be reduced and the waste discharge can be kept in low level. Some reactions which are difficult coming ture in conventional method can be finished very fast under MWI irradiation.
