There are some isomeric compounds of hydroxypyridinone (HOPO). The compounds of 2-hydroxy-6-pyridinone have been used to dyestuff and pesticide widely. The compounds of 3-hydroxy-2-pyridinone and 3-hydroxy-4-pyridinone are paid attention to, because they are very useful heavy metal chelations. Especially, they are wonderful candidate medicament for the toxicosis of depleted uranium (DU), so they can settle the DU jeopardize to the people. Now, many foreign scientists research their chelating abilities profoundly. However, in our country, the study of this area is researched just a little. Especially, the 3,2-HOPO has not been reported in China befort. The thesis introduce the routine method, ultrasonic catalyse method and microwave catalyse method to synthesize HOPO compounds. It will offer the compare of different methods and show the key of the synthesis and spectra figures. In the experiment, 4 compounds were synthesized, including 1-[(Ethylcarbamoyl)methyl]-3-hydroxy-2-pyridinone, 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxy-4-pyridinone, 1-Ethyl-2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4-pyridinone and N-(o, anilinyl)-2-ethyl-3-hydroxyl-4-pyridinone. 1-[(Ethylcarbamoyl)methyl]-3-hydroxy-2-pyridinone has not been reported in China before. According to study the reaction principle, observe the reaction phenomenon and analyze the reaction results reasonable, the author approve the disposal way to continue the reaction, predigest the operation and recur the experiment very well. 1,2-Dimethyl-3-hydroxy-4-pyridinone and 1-Ethyl-2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4-pyridinone are synthesized by ultrasonic catalyse method for the first time. Comparing the routine method with the ultrasonic catalyse one, we found that the latter can increase the reaction velocity 4 to 5 times than the former, and the yield could increase relatively. We also find that the dosage of the reaction in the latter is less than the former, so it can save the materials. In this reaction route, the penman had to face many completely different phenomenon or results. Basing the rational hypothesis and experiment, the author changed the means of experiment and the ways of disposal. Therefore, a reaction seeming failure could finish successfully. N-(o, anilinyl)-2-ethyl-3-hydroxyl-4-pyridinone is synthesized by microwave catalyse means. The study reveals that microwave catalyse means can increase the reaction velocity nearly 72 times than routine way. It's a perfect means of this kind reaction. By the same time, the thesis discusses the reason of the failure of other 2 reaction. The thesis also provides the spectra of every step compound. Especially for the target result, the paper offers the IR, UV and 1H NMR spectra. The author believes this figure and data would help the other scholars.
