In the field of CNC, to NC lathe only have the characteristics that interpolation function in straight line or the arc generally at present, straight line and arc approximation to complicated curve or curved surface and NC process issue go on research in this thesis. The part outline is described with quasi-uniform B-Spline at first in this paper, use the straight line or the arc approach this general form, B-Spline curve be deal with to approximation with straight line or arc, prove the exactness and accuracy of the algorithm with high-level language programming of Visual Basic, have realized that NC procession produce automatically to the complicated outline of part, have solve the problem that process programming in complicated curve NC, has improved computing processed in complicated curve NCl and programming efficiency.
