Study On Water Environmental Capacity In XinDu Area Of ChengDu

Capacity of water environment is measure of self-purification ability of water body. It is a kind of natural environmental resources, and reasonably developing and making use of the precious resources can reduce wastewater treatment expenses and get economic performance. So, study and make use of environment capacity is very important.Basic theories from environmental plan, environmental impact assessment, water environment and hydraulics are applied in the paper. Water environment capacity of rivers in Xindu Area has been completely discussed and analyzed by methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis.Understanding the condition and variety trend of water is the foundation work in the research of water environment capacity. So, the paper has analyzed and evaluated the present water environment quality of Xindu Area, and brought up several suggestions. According to the evaluation results, combining positions, usage function and pollution condition of each water valley in Xindu Area, Nanmen River and Pi River have been chosen as the main rivers researched in the paper. Water imitation of main rivers and analysis of the results have been made. At the same time, pollutant source which is drained to rivers of Xindu Area has been analyzed and estimated. Environment capacity as well as admission wastewater and pollutant have been calculated by steady water quality model. According to calculation results of water environment capacity, present pollution conditions of water environment of Xindu Area have been analyzed and evaluated.
