In present paper, the acetylcholin esterase inhibition technology was used to study the effect of potassium ferrate (K2FeO4) on degradation of dichlorvos which was chose as the representative compound of organophosphorus or carbamates pesticide. It is found that CO2 could be used as a neutralization agent to wiping off the remaining ferrate and keeping the pH value to be the optimal pH value (pH 7-8) for the acetylcholin esterase inhibition technology. Based on the linear relationship between the concentration of dichlorvos (p) and the activity of enzyme represented by the absorbency difference in 3 minutes (AA): AA = — 0.1096lg P +0.2227, the effect of potassium ferrate on degradation of dichlorvos was measured, that is after being treated by 800 mg/L potassium ferrate for 15 minutes, the content of dichlorvos decreased from 80 mg/L to less than 0.05 mg/L.The effect of potassium ferrate or/and the co-operation with other...
