Study Of Structure And Properties Of PVC/Wood-Flour Composite

In recent years, the demand of ornamental materials of wood was sharply increasing with improvement of living level and housing. But the consumption of wood was restricted for the lack of forest resource. It was a hot subject in the field of material science to develop a new kind of ornamental material to replace the wood. Much attention was paid on thermoplastics filled with plant-fibers to produce wood-like plastics.In this paper, Poly (Vinyl chloride) resin and wood flour which was made of waste materials from wood processing factories were selected to synthesize wood-like ornamental plastics on the basis of the principle of polymer filling and modification through the technique of compound mixing.
