In this study, we prepared the TiO2 Sol-Gel by using titanium tetraisopropoxide as precursor. The TiO2 thin films were immobilized on the glass tube surface by dip-coating method. The structure and surface morphology of TiO2 thin films were investigated by means of TG-DTA, XRD, SEM and AFM. Photocatalytic activity of TiO2 films for acid orange degradation reaction was also evaluated. Finally, the TiO2 thin films were applied to wastewater advanced treatment. The results show that:1. The storage stability of the TiO2 Sol-Gel is good.2. The TiO2 thin films are lubricous, uniform, transparent. When the TiO2 thin films are calcined at 500℃ for 1h, the TiO2 is anatase.3. Acid orange can be effectively degraded by the thin films catalysis of A series. The photocatalytic activities of films are not effected by increase in the coated time. The intensity of UV and pH can effect the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of thin films.4. The targets of photocatalytic oxidation effluent accord with the quality standard for reclaimed wastewater reused as scenic water.
