The main factors affecting synthesis of sodium lauryl alcohol polyoxylene (9) ether acetate (AE9C-Na) were investigated. The optimum reaction conditions were laury alcohol polyoxyethylene ( 9) ether/chloroacetic acid =1:1.05(mol); reaction temperature 85 ℃; reaction time more than 5.0h; XLS (organic base composite) catalyst amounts=2.5g/mol reactant. The yield of AE9C-Na was more than 95%.The surface activity of AE9C-Na was measured. Compared with AEO-9,its results were surface tension 21.4× 10-4N/m,CMC1.8 ×10-3 mol/L; height of Rossi foaming 167mm, emulsificating capability 135s,adding dissolving capability 3.2m/mol;wetting capability 26.1s; dispersing capability LSDP 28%; detergency power 64.5.A series of homegeneous polyoxyethylene ethers of dodecanol, tetradecanol and octadecanol,and their carboxylates were synthesized, and their properties such as CMC, Y cmc, foaming. And detergency were determined .When the carbon chain length of aliphatic group is same, their surface activities are boosted as the EO number of polyetheroxy ether increases:when the EO number are same, their surface activities are boosted when thecarbon chain length increases.The biodegradation and acid,alkalin,hydrolytic stability of sodium laury alcoholpolyxyethylene ether acetate (AE9C-Na) were investigated.The application property of AE9C-Na was studied in laundry detergent,soap and shampoo.It is indicated,that the biodegradation was easier and acid,alkain,hydrolytic stability is better;that the detergency ,anti-hard-water,dissolving property in the cold water and soft feeling of washed fibre surface are best intensified,adding AE9C-Na in general soap;that the compatibility with the different accessory ingredients and usual surface active agents is better,especially showing the best detergent and line soap dispersion force in higher...
