At technical reconstruction, two new equipments called KS5.7 centrifugal fine-coal remover which were imported from German are applied to production system in Paisan coal preparation plant in Huainan city, ANHUI province. And it is first time for such kind of equipment to be applied to heavy medium separation technology in China. Application of them is good not only to promote separation efficiency of the two products cyclone but also to reduce the press of coal surry treatmentAiming at many defects in the traditional control system of centrifugal fine-coal remover such as disability to detect the work condition of every organ and manage the operation, maintenance difficulty and high labor cost of manual proportioning, the author carried out technical reformtion of traditional control system with advanced equipments.At first, this paper analyzes in depth the contraction, the working principle and the traditional control system of centrifugal fine-coal remover. According to the control demand and production process of the equipment, the new project is constituted. In the new control system, we use Modicon PLC as the subject station being on data acquisition, data storing, as well as data processing, and realizing the automatic control. The system is also composed of PC as main station managing and monitoring the whole system concentrated. The software has many functions, such as real displaying, report printing and so on. The real management and monitor of the centrifugal fine-coal remover is being achieved eventually. An open and scalable architecture design with strong function of control network is realized in this system. The structure of module is used in the software and the hardware design, and which make the system have perfect transplantation and repairbility.
