On the base of the man-machine-environment theory, reliability theory, fuzzy maths, management information systems, genetic algorithms and related knowledge the reliability of the man-machine-environment system of the fully machinized coal face is analyzed. Firstly, by analyzing the factors of man, machine, environment and the whole man-machine-environment system, ways which were the fault model, the guide line of fault factors, the calculating methods for reliability, the fuzzy synthesis analysis and evaluation etc were established for man, machine and environment system. And then, the fuzzy reliability of the man-machine-environment system of the fully machinized coal face was set up by the whole man-machine-environment system with the theory of fuzzy synthesis analysis. According to the analysis and calculation of man machine environment factors, the methods and measures based genetic algorithms were brought forward in order to admeasure the limited source to improve the reliability of sole and whole factors of man-machine-environment system for the first time. The result that the study was applied expresses that the study on the reliability of the man-machine-environment system of the fully machinized coal face to improve high efficiency and production of fully machinized coal face efficiently.
