Studies On The Synthesis And Characterization And Properties Of Copoly (Phenylene Sulfide Sulfone/phenylene Sulfide Ketone)

In order to improve the thermal property and chemical resistance of poly(phenylene sulfide sulfone), the copolymer of poly(phenylene sulfide sulfone/phenylene sulfide ketone) (PPSS/K) had been polymerized. A novel method was used to synthesize the PPSS/K copolymer at normal pressure and high molecular weight PPSS/K was synthesized. The reaction conditions such as modes of adding monomer, monomer ratios of materials, reaction temperature and time have obvious effects on molecular weight of the copolymer. The copolymer's chain and aggregative structures were characterized by FT-IR spectrum, UV spectrum, 1H-NMR spectrum, X-ray diffraction and small angle light scattering (SALS) respectively, The copolymer was demonstrated to be amorphous but with little local ordering structures at the content of ketone variation in the range of 0~45%.Thermal properties were researched and the results show that the more ketone in the copolymer chain, the better thermal properties of the PPSS/K resins have. By optimizing the PPSS synthetic schemes, high molecular weight PPSS who's viscosity reach 0.61dl/g was prepared. The experiment can be repeated well. With the increase of its viscosity, the thermal properties of the PPSS were improved. PPSS is a kind of thermoplastic material with excellent heat resistant. The PPSS/GF composite sheet was characterized by different means and the results show that the composite sheet was suitable for heat environment. The PPSS insulated films were also prepared and characterized.
