It is the main goal of this paper to research the fuzzy neural network control system of the DCM. A fuzzy neural network controller that is designed according to the parameters of the host computer of rolling mill is presented. It resolves the synchronous question of many electrical types of machinery. Thus it realized the torque following and has solved some difficult problems in the production process.This paper has comparatively explained in detail the fuzzy neural network control principle, which is combined with control system of neural network and the fuzzy control system, and utilize one's own advantages that make use of neural network technology to carry on fuzzy information processing. It generates the control rules from given experience. It makes good use of the ability of the self-organize and self-learning, so the fuzzy rules and the subject function can be generated automatically. Thus, the defect, that is difficult to construct the structure of the neural network and has not the ability of self-learning, can be overcome. It can be put in to practice in somewhere high level control is necessary wildly.This system succeeds in realizing in the emulation of the laboratory at first, then set up the application on the main rolling mill of roller in the steel rolling mill of the iron company of WUYANG The host computer of the system is regulated by Siemens 6RA70. The double-loop control is realized. The outer loop is the speed loop. The inner is current loop. Because principal and subordinate electrical motors drive the same transmission shaft, so the torque of two motors should be matched, that is to say, it realize torque following. Use the powerful S00 to communicate between the principal and the subordinate to realize the real-time. The whole network is communicated and realized by PROFIBUS-DP and industry's Ethernet.
